LOCKABLE SKI RACKS - FAQ

Here you will find all the answers about our lockable Ski Racks, the Ski Sheriff System, and our Smartphone App. You can browse through our pricing examples or report an issue. 

GENERAL QUESTIONS

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Each box allows up to 2 sets of skis along with 2 sets of poles, or 2 individual snowboards. 

Place the tail end of your skis or snowboard inside the base frame, then lean your skis or snowboard inside the box. For regular sized gear, your bindings will be underneath the locker box. For children’s skis, the bindings should be inside the locker box. See our users manual for illustrated details.

The upper bindings should be inside the locker box. See our users manual for an illustrated description.

Get help from our partners. Every Ski Sheriff has a badge on one of its sides which tells you who to contact for assistance. If our partners need to open the lock for you, please have your ID ready so they can verify that you are the legitimate renter of that locker.

Please use the following checklist to troubleshoot.

  1. Go into your smartphone’s settings and check if Bluetooth is turned on.
  2. Close and re-start the Ski Sheriff App.
  3. Re-start your smartphone. 
  4. Get help from our partners. Every Ski Sheriff has a badge on one of its sides which tells you who to contact for assistance. If our partners need to open the lock for you, please have your ID ready so they can verify that you are the legitimate renter of that locker.

The rental process is complete once you’ve closed and locked the door. If you forget to lock the door, the App will notify you that the rental process is not complete. 

Within the App – You will see a map of all Ski Sheriffs in your area. Click on the Ski Sheriff icons to check for locker availability and directions. On the website – Go to the “All locations” page and search for your ski resort.

All gear should be removed by midnight.

From 12:00am midnight to 7:00am, our help desk is not available for assistance; therefore we do not recommend leaving your gear over night. 

Our App needs access to your phone’s camera to scan the QR code.

Within the App, click on the “exclamation mark” symbol and find the option “Report an issue.” Please describe the issue and upload a picture for our reference. Please note that your current location will be submitted along with this report. 

Within the website, please use the following form to submit the report. 

The pricing can vary slightly depending on the location. To get exact pricing, use the location pointer inside the App. 

All major credit and debit cards

You may request to cancel your Day Pass for a full refund, or have it transferred to a different date up to 12 hours before the date of the reservation. 

Pricing is based on increments of an hour.
