THE BEST SKI LOCK FOR SKI RESORTS?

Around 4,000 reports of ski theft are registered in Austria every year, and the trend is rising slightly. But theft is not the only problem...

The Problem:

Ski theft is a prevalent issue, with many skiers leaving their equipment unsecured and vulnerable to theft. Newer ski models have bindings that can be easily and quickly adjusted without tools, making it easy for thieves to take and use them. It is often difficult to track down the perpetrators, as there are typically few witnesses and little evidence left behind. Additionally, mix-ups with rental equipment can also occur, causing frustration and lost time on the slopes.

Preventing Theft:

There are several options for protecting your skis and snowboards from theft, but they all have their downsides.

  • Placing skis on separate racks may not deter professional thieves and can be difficult for snowboarders.

  • Marking your skis (brings little and is not very pretty)

  • Attaching skis with a padlock and or a steel cable (may not be sufficient to deter professional thieves.)

  • Special locks for specially designed ski racks (expensive, and these ski racks are not available everywhere)

What Is The Solution?

At Ski Sheriff, we recognize the importance of finding a solution for efficiently and effectively securing ski and snowboard equipment. We understand that one’s personal belongings, including smartphones, are typically carried at all times. With this in mind, we have developed a system that utilizes the convenience of a smartphone in conjunction with our Ski Sheriff app and smart ski racks. This allows for quick and effortless locking and unlocking of equipment, taking mere seconds to complete. We invite you to explore our latest ski racks and experience the ease and security they provide.

We look forward to seeing you on the slopes!
